I Am the Diva Weekly Challenge #263: "Globular Grid"

Now this critter was seriously challenging.  Good thing I'm retired.  I think I missed two meals and a nap working on her.  But ya know what?  I had soooooooo much fun.  Let's hear it for pen size 01, yes.  Zendala tile and friends.

  1. Wow! What a symphony of tangles.
I love how there are pieces of rope/string going over and under some of the tangles. The brown-black-red (or is it orange?) ink really work well on this tile.

    1. Thanks Stephanie. That redish brown is what Sakura calls brown. I like it partially because I live in the Southwest - redrock country - and it feels like home. Plus it really pops against the black.

    1. Yes, Zentangle and retirement go very good together. Check out the other project I did sorta related to Zentangle on my previous post. Retirement works.

  4. Your globe is amazing! It's an intricate mosaic and I love the thread weaving through it.

    1. Thanks for noticing the thread as several people have done. It was an afterthought. If I repeat this exercise, I will make the thread more powerful.

    1. We woulda said "cool" in my time or "neat", or more recently "neato bazito". Love it all.

  9. My kids would say it's sick. Apparently, sick is good --sort of like "cool" in Millennial-speak. I didn't miss any meals. I just missed a good night's sleep and stayed up until 3:00 a.m filling in little boxes. I like your tri-color approach. Your orb looks fun and elegant at the same time---not so easy to achieve.

    1. Well, hey, thanks Suzanne. Elegant???? You flatter me. I can go with fun and perhaps confused... OK, if you think it is elegant, then who am I do disagree. Thank you once again.
