I Am the Diva Weekly Challenge #305: "DuoTangle Marasu vs Molygon"

Well folks, here is my contribution to Marasu Vs Molygon - I think Molygon won;  at any rate, it was fun.  Sharpies and Gelly Roll pens on a rock.  A careful observer will notice two Marasu growths in which are embedded any number of wonky ole Molygons.  It's like one of those things I really wished for and then got to thinking toward the end there, holy criminy, what ever was I thinking? - hehe.

Well, now that I look at it and think about it, I reckon my Marasus are eating or birthing my Molygons, depending on which end you view them from.

Weekly Challenge #304: "New Official Tangle Waybop"

OK folks I saw Waybop in the Zentangle newsletter and really thought it was cool and easy too, providing you followed the steps in order.  My first couple outings were not what I'd call wildly successful.  A secret desire was that Waybop would appear as a challenge from the Diva, and do wishes ever come true - Yahoo.  I'm am sorta out of Zentangle regular supplies so I've been tangling on rocks of late with Sharpies.  Use what ya got kiddo.

Well, I created a rather interesting version of Waybop and it just screamed "Auraknot me" to me, so I did and it turned out to be an Auraknot that went through the boundaries of Waybop to the outside, which I think is like totally cool, ya know.  The Tipple was just for some added interest.  This guy is about 8 inches high.  I decided to use elemental colors (get it), silver, bronze and gold - hey, I live in Arizona OK!  I'da used copper but I don't think Sharpie makes that color.

I Am the Diva - Weekly Challenge #303: "Valentangle"

In perfect compliance (almost), I created this Valentangle on a Zendala tile (since that's all that I seem to have at the moment) for my wonderful wife of 25 years.  The heart pattern is one that Helen Williams illustrated on her blog - www.alittlelime.blogspot.com post of a few days ago.  I used Sakura Micron pens for drawing and the red hearts and Gelly Role pens for the rest of the color and Copic markers for shading.  And oh, the little dangles were inspired by Joanne Fink of Zenspirations Dangle Designs.

I Am the Diva Challenge #302 - "UMT Hamadox by Diana Schruer CZT"

Wow, I've been away from Zentangle way, way, way too long.  I'm so happy to be back and this challenge was really fun, using a new pattern.  So, I just took a quick practice run at it on 4x6 multi-media paper and liked the results so much I decided to share.  That's what it's all about, yes?  Enjoy.

#DC284 - Monotangle Tripoli

I've never mastered Tripoli.  Just can't seem to get those facing edges to face each other and other unexplainable unnatural phenomenon of the pens in hand.  So, I cheated and was lazy and posted this I did almost a year ago. Coz I could.

#DC282: "Spill It"

After 60 years of coffee, I quit a month or so ago, so I spilled my herbal coffee like drink on my tile.  At the end the open spaces seemed lonely, so I flicked watercolor paint at it.  I'm very happy with the result.  It's so much fun to Diva Dance.  My mantra for this project was to let go and let Art.
