too much fun
Thank you, thank you for the fun challenge and for the opportunity to play, muse, meditate, get lost in the adventure and have fun.
I was going through my huge stack of Zentangle tiles today (which I highly recommend for the morale boost it is) and discovered several (OK - Many) tiles I've done over the last year, since tangling came into my life that I thought fit nicely into this challenge. I think this one, from this last February is particularly suited to this challenge, especially since I generally don't feel my Auraknot tangles look very good. So with no explanation as to colors, pens or method, I hope you enjoy this submission.
Perfect pattern choice on the outer section to compliment the inner area. It seems to "dance" (pun intended) together.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Puns are fun.
DeleteI really like the multi-color Diva Dance. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the compliment.
DeleteThis is terrific. I think you picked great color combinations and they just happen to also complement the Zentangle kit box you use as a "frame" when you photograph your Zentangle Inspired Art. Not only your Diva Dance is dancing, your Aquafleur also looks like it wants to get up and join the party. PS: I consider you an honorary Boomer. I'm never doctrinaire. Well, almost never. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Suzanne. Picking Micron colors is easy since there are only about six or so. I'll wear the honorarium with as much dignity as a really old guy can muster.
DeleteOw it just pops off your screen when you open your post.
ReplyDeleteLike the green in the middle. Oh well, I like the whole tile :)
Thank you for your nice compliment.
Deletebeautiful colors, very nice work
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteLove it so much! Such a beautiful tile!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteBeautiful work!
ReplyDeleteI love this version of Aquafleur.. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks. My favorite way of Aquafleur too.
DeleteLove it and the cute little heart :) The green and pink make a wonderful colour combo.
ReplyDeleteThanks Helen. Your art and lessons influence all my tangles. Having pulled a few calves at two AM in freezing weather in my ranching years, I appreciate the other side of your story too.
DeleteBoth are absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely beautiful! Love the colors you have chosen....they go so well with the tangles too. I love the diva dance tangle too and yet seem to struggle with it...sometimes I just need to practice and do a monotangle until I get a tangle "down". Lovely lovely works.
ReplyDeleteBoth are really beautiful and beautifully done! Great choices of colours, and using the top of your kit as a background is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI love your Diva! Perfect and clear with fine shading.
ReplyDeleteThe "Fengle" are nice as well. I myself have tried it once but without success.. This is an inspiration to try it again.
